Where To? 3.0 with Newly Designed UI and iPhone 4 Support

Munich, July 30, 2010. FutureTap has updated “Where To?”, its wildly popular points of interest finder, to version 3.0. The new version includes a completely revised user interface with an all-integrated leather interieur. It has been optimized for iPhone 4 and fully supports the new Retina Display.

“We love the new iPhone 4 with its brilliant new display. Where To? 3.0 looks gorgeous on the new iPhone and we hope our users will love it as much as we do”, says Ortwin Gentz, FutureTap CEO.

The new version also makes use of new features on iOS 4: Multitasking (available in iPhone 3GS or newer) for instance is very useful to call at a found restaurant and reserve a table. After the call you can return to the exact same screen in Where To?. SMS location sharing is now fully integrated and doesn’t require launching the Messages application.

Sharing via email now sends beautifully crafted HTML mails.

“3.0 sets the foundation for a whole bunch of new features we‘ll be implementing over the course of the next months”, adds Ortwin Gentz. “The pipeline is full of new stuff, we’ll certainly not rest on our laurels.”

Where To? has sold over 250,000 copies and has received numerous awards including the “Best Feel Like A Local App” at the 2009 Best App Ever Awards. Where To? is best known as a worldwide points of interest finder that utilizes the iPhone GPS and doesn’t require the user to do any typing. It works on any iPhone or iPod touch running iPhone OS 3.0 or later and is available for $2.99 on the App Store (http://www.futuretap.com/whereto/buy). Current Where To? 2.x users are eligible for a free update to Where To? 3.0.
